Piñata Farms Production Update

As always, we are busy busy busy here at Piñata!! Here is a quick update on our production across Honey Gold Mangoes, Pineapples and Strawberries:

With today being the last day of Summer, mango season is unfortunately drawing to a close. There is still some production coming out of Wamuran and Byron Bay but this will be finished by the end of the first week of March.

14 Days Left to Win a Car!

As the Piñata Honey Gold Mango Season starts to draw to a close, so does the Piñata Honey Gold Mango 'Win A Car' Competition. So far we have given away 30 weekly prizes ($100 prepaid EFTPOS vouchers) and we have another 6 to give away over the next two weeks.

On Wednesday 29th February 2012, the competition will come to a close and the final grand prize winner of the brand new 2012 model Toyota Yaris will be drawn! It is exciting for us at Piñata Farms to be giving away such a great prize to one of our lovely, loyal consumers.

Rain Rain Go Away!

Over the past six weeks, South East Queensland has seen huge rainfall. Summer is the "wet season" for us so we generally expect this! Even though Brisbane itself has not flooded again this year, the rainfall in the Wamuran region where we have Pineapple, Strawberry and Honey Gold farms, has had the same amount of rainfall as last year!

This has caused the local creeks and rivers to flood, blocking many roads and making it hard to get to work. Luckily because the flooding is so localised, the water quickly recedes and it's back to business as usual.
